GMAT

While there are no guarantees that an MBA will ensure you of your dream job or make you the next master of the universe, many prominent CEOs, investment bankers, consultants and other business professionals have MBA’s from top programs.  The competition to gain admission into a top business school program intensifies each year. If you are an individual who aspires to get to the next level in your business career, the MBA is one of the most useful tools to get you there.  However, admittance into top programs is extremely competitive and the primary reason for a candidate’s rejection into a program is a low GMAT score.  According to US News, the current average GMAT score for matriculating students at the top 10 full-time MBA programs is a 720 (94% percentile) and the average acceptance rate is 16%.

The GMAT is a 3.5 hour computer adaptive test (CAT) that is comprised of four sections:  Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning (12 questions), Quantitative (37 multiple choice questions), and Verbal (41 multiple choice questions).  The Core Edge is a leader in helping each student successfully prep for the GMAT exam.  While most test prep companies offer a one size fits all approach to standardized test prep by offering group classes with a singular teaching method, The Core Edge provides its students with individual tutoring and customizes the learning material to fit the student’s specific needs and learning style.  Our GMAT tutor coaches have been rigorously interviewed to ensure that they not only can score high on the exam themselves, but also that they are skilled GMAT tutor coaches who can deliver the material to our students in a concise and impactful manner, allowing for the highest retention rate.  Simply memorizing material does not work on a standardized exam.  Our tutor coaches provide our students with a true edge over other test takers by teaching our students to truly understand the material versus relying solely on rote memorization.  Contact us today to get an edge over the competition.

GRE

Are you an individual who is ready to further your education or take the next step in your career?  Whether you are seeking more education to gain broader subject knowledge or would prefer to take the GRE over the GMAT for business school, the GRE may be your next step.

The GRE is a 3.75 hour computer adaptive test (CAT) that is comprised of six sections:  Essay (2), Quantitative (2 sections of 20 questions each), and Verbal (2 sections of 20 each).  Unlike the GMAT, the GRE is a section adaptive exam, which provides the test taker with the ability to revisit a previously answered or unanswered question before time expires.  The Core Edge is a leader in helping each student successfully prep for the GRE exam.  While most test prep companies offer a one size fits all approach to standardized test prep by offering group classes with one teaching method, The Core Edge provides its students with individual tutoring and customizes the learning material to fit the student’s specific needs and learning style.  Our GRE tutor coaches have been rigorously interviewed to ensure that they not only can score high on the exam themselves, but also that they are skilled GRE tutor coaches who can deliver the material to our students in a concise and impactful manner, allowing for the highest retention rate.  Simply memorizing material does not work on a standardized exam.  Our tutor coaches provide our students with a true edge over other test takers by teaching our students to truly understand the material versus relying solely on rote memorization.
